Bobby Fishkin

Bobby co-founded Reframe It after receiving his B.A., magna cum laude, in Philosophy from Yale University. He served as a Special Advisor to Tomorrow’s Europe, a Deliberative Democracy project of the European Commission, and as a Special Advisor to the Center for Deliberative Democracy at Stanford University.

Bobby also serves on the advisory board of Recipco ( and has founded two organizations creating markets for excess capacity. As a Fellow of the Richard Florida Creativity Group and Fellow of the Office of the Mayor of Baltimore, he founded ACCESS Baltimore (Arts Creating Community Energy and Social Solutions), to create opportunities for inner-city at-risk youth to attend cultural events. Bobby also founded the Books for Teachers program, which has created more than 1000 classroom libraries for schools in Connecticut, Hawaii, and Washington.

Bobby co-created the initial version of, a website which allowed earthquake volunteers from to efficiently find information about urgent needs on the ground, and to communicate it with first responders via Usahidi. Bobby is also a playwright who has been produced in London at the Bloomsbury Theatre, Austin, Texas, and New York.
